Beautiful calm, sunny morning to sit on the dock with our coffee! Watching the pelicans! We enjoyed a great breakfast at Porky's, just down the road. Its about 50 miles to Key West from here. Route 1 is a good road, but mostly single lane with lots of traffic (especially heading north -where are they going and where are they coming from?)
The weather is great! Low 80s, mostly sunny, little wind. The sun is very strong! We drove into Key West, stopping first at the park by the cruise ship docks. Quite a cruise facility they built, too bad they've now discouraged these big ships - too much damage to the coral reefs.
We parked downtown and had a piece of Key Lime Pie for lunch. We walked around the historic blocks, checking out the fancy yatchs. Its hot and humid! There's a long line of people leading to the "Southernmost Point" marker for a picture!
We returned to Marathon and had a nice seafood dinner at a cafe called Cracked Conch.
Football tonight - Tampa Bay vs Phildelphia. Also today - the Iowa Caucases. Sounds like assshole Trump won as expected.
